Learning, Sharing, and Advancing Early Educator Compensation
It’s conference season! Last week, our CEO, Christina Taylor, attended the Worth More: Advancing ECE Compensation Summit in New Orleans, joining state and local leaders nationwide to explore strategies to improve compensation and strengthen the early childhood workforce.
The summit focused on practical approaches to financing compensation, elevating educator voice, designing workforce initiatives, and using data to guide and evaluate compensation efforts.
Christina also had the opportunity to share how Larimer County’s Measure 1B investment is helping put these ideas into action right here at home.
“It was exciting to talk about what our local community made possible, and to learn from others doing this work across the country. I’m coming home with new ideas, new connections, and even more energy for what we’re building at Northern Colorado Kids Thrive. There is a lot of work ahead, but I am so proud of the incredible opportunity we have to show what sustained local investment in early childhood can accomplish.”
