Becoming an in-home childcare provider, also called a family child care home or FCCH provider, offers a unique opportunity to make a positive impact on young children while running your own business. It allows you to create a nurturing, personalized environment where kids feel safe and supported, all within the comfort of your own home. With flexible hours, the ability to set your own rates, and the satisfaction of helping families, it's a fulfilling career path that combines passion with the potential for growth. Whether you’re just starting out or expanding your existing services, in-home childcare is a rewarding way to contribute to early childhood development.

"Being an in-home childcare provider means you’re not just watching children – you’re shaping hearts, minds, and futures."

Interested in taking the next step?
We determine eligibility for FCCH navigation services by understanding where you live/where you will be providing care and if you are permitted to operate a licensed child care business in your home. Once we make that determination, we ask you to sign a Pre-Licensing Agreement/MOU stating that you will make valid attempts to become licensed and provide safe, high-quality care in Larimer County and that we will provide information, resources, and reimbursement to you during that process.
To get started, all interested applicants must fill out this brief intake form.
